disk space running out?

I have loaded Win XP pro onto my c drive (4gb capacity) and I have only used
the machine for a month but already I am showing that I have less the 500mb
on my C drive. I have a d and e drive whihc has my applications and document
holding area. I only wanted c drive to hold the OS, but can this be right!

Any help would be great.

Sammy;
You have the absolute minimum assuming ONLY Windows XP and Windows
Updates.
No data applications etc.
You should increase the size of the drive.
