Question Disk usage 100% on steam and than download stops

Hi, (and sorry for my english)

I have a problem. I wanted to download game on steam and everything went fine but suddenly my computer began to be realy slow. I checked my disk usage and it was 100%. I continued downloading but it stoped at some point and downloading speed and disk usage on steam went to 0. I thought this was happening only with steam but even on GOG and copying files on windows this happend. Disk usage 100% and than speed of download or installation slowly dropped to 0. I have laptop with Windows 10 and SSHD. I already rebooted system. Disk usage 100% is not such a problem but download speed drops are. Do you know anything that could cause this?

I'd run some diagnostic scans on that drive (such as within SeaTools).

The drive is likely hanging based on damage or failure, so all other disk operations pause while it attempts to retrieve or write the data from one of the operations.

Scan did not find any damage and my drive is st1000lx015-1u7172
