Question Disk Usage from HDD causing GPU to drop/ freeze games after buying new SSD

Hi I have recently purchased a new SSD for games but after installing and setting it up games randomly freeze for like half a second, I looked at task manager and my old HDD that was used for games also was spiking and right when that happened the GPU performance dropped, tried playing games on the HDD everything runs fine no issue. Anyone got any ideas?

What is your pc setup and what kind of ssd is it?

here are my specs

i7 6700k
16 GB Ram
GTX 1080

I also have 3 drives

Main: Samsung 750 EVO 250GB SSD
Second: WD 4TB Hard Drive
Third: Crucial BX500 1TB

The Crucial is the new one.

Crucial comes with a utility called: Crucial Storage Executive. Run it and see what it says about the new Crucial drive.
