Disk usge 100% while installing something

Hello,
I have Lenovo laptop with windows 10.

I have this weird problem, when i try to install a game my disk usage in task manager rises to 100%. Installation slows down to the point where installing a 20gb game can take up to 14hours. I tired all the tutorial/fixes on the internet (disabling superfetch, defraging, removing malware, updating drivers etc..) but none helped. I thought maybe my HDD is scratched or damaged. So maybe if i make a new partition and reinstall widndows to that new partition it will fix my problem?

Yes - health looks good.
Use Resource Monitor - Disk section so see, what is causing disk activity.

Also don't forget to boot up in windows safe mode, which will see if windows is causing a problem as well.

It has detected some infected files, i have removed them. but the problem still appears

i will try it. If everything works in safe mode then it means that my personal data is corrupted or something?

It could mean something that is installed is doing something to the hard disk in the back ground.

But why its only doing something when i try to install games or large programs? While i game or surf the web disk usage is fine - under 2-5%

Are you running some Anti virus program?
Did windows safe mode work OK? Did it go into 100% mode?
Have you tried Hard Disk Sentinel to monitor the HDD or another device that can test the HDD?

Yes, i have Malwarebytes and Avast. In safe mode task manager doesn't show me disk usage, only cpu and memory usage, so i can't tell if HDD usage is 100% while installing. However i tried installing the same game in safe mode and still got only 1% done in an hour. I've tested HDD health with several programs, all show that drive is in good condition.

Maybe it can be a virus disguised as windows process? Because i don't have a legitimate copy of windows. I will try to clean install windows if nothing helps.
