Disk vs steam purchase

Huya guys,

This is for witcher 3 but other games may apply I guess:

If i buy on steam does it save your game so I can swap between my desktop and laptop which Im guessing you cant do with a disk.

And also I used to buy one game and my other half and I would both be able to use it at the same time

Yes, The Witcher 3 on Steam supports Steam Could Saves.

The "Family Share" feature went through some changes. You can no longer access your library (any of your games), on-line, when the person you are sharing to/from with is on-line in the shared library. Also, some games removed the Family Share feature and some never supported it.
