When I use Dism to capture an image, it successfully captures one. The bar says 100%. But when I use it to traditionally install the windows using the setup.exe, it says this message:
Windows cannot find the Microsoft Software License Forms. Make sure the installation sources are valid and restart the installation.

More information needed.

Are you doing a recovery or perhaps trying to simply reinstall Windows?

What procedure or process are you using?

For example:

https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/wi.../capture-and-apply-windows-using-a-single-wim

Unless there are other circumstances and factors a clean install is recommended (from this Forum).

I have used the method in the 1st link you posted to capture the image. Then I put the captured image into the Windows installation files. It has always worked this way. Then suddenly it doesnt. I have tried different usb ports, different usb drives to no avail.

The sources folder where the boot.wim is also located. The windows 10 installation ISO.
The windows installation expects the user to accept the user agreements that your wim doesn't have anymore or is not compatible with.
As the first link states you are expected to deploy your self made wim with windowsPE.
You can also download imagex standalone go to the recovery options of your install to get the command prompt and deploy manually.
