Hello everyone so a couple days ago I was messing around with files on my pc then I couldn’t start any games. So I decided to clear my whole pc I have also been wanting to do this so I could download certain thing in a certain storage that I didn’t do in the begging when I first got it. So I start downloading games again everything is cleared it’s good. But then I go to device manager and click on display adapters and I see nividea GTX 1060 but don’t see the intel one anymore do I need it. I heard from a friend that it work with the GTX 1060 and makes things better. Also when I was clearing my pc I heard I had to download the GTX drivers if it’s in my display adapters do I have to re download it. I’m new to pc. Thanks

If you have a laptop, the Intel graphics are used when you aren't doing anything intensive, like gaming. This way you conserve power and your battery lasts longer.

If you are using a desktop PC then you don't need the Intel graphics enabled or the Intel graphics drivers installed. Your 1060 handles all your video needs.

For your 1060, in a desktop computer, you can just go to Nvidia's website and download the latest drivers. Select the 'advanced' installation, then the 'custom' and check 'clean installation'. That will erase any old drivers and get you the new ones. You don't need to install the 3d, HD audio, or Geforce experience stuff if you're not going to use it. Just the drivers and Physx things.
