I recently uninstalled my nvidia drivers using the program "Display drivers Uninstaller". Upon rebooting in safe mode, I attempted to reinstall the new drivers, but no supporting hardware was found. I looked in the device manager and there isn't even a section for display adapters.

I was getting 20 fps while playing planetside 2, so I know my gfx card works. The lights and fan are currently on as well. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Did you ever find a solution to this?

I'm having the problem with my gtx 1080. I think I need to reinstall windows 10, my gpu turns on and I get video from it. But display adapters is missing in the device manager and windows 10 won't recognize the gpu. I don't have built in graphics in my mobo either. I've tried two different gpu's now and neither of them are being read.
