Hi, I recently put together my new system with the following parts:
Motherboard: Crosshair VI Hero Motherboard
CPU: Ryzen 7 1700
H100i cooler
GPU: GTX 970 that I took from what was my current system.
PSU: EVGA 850 GQ
RAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX 3200Mhz 2x16GB ram
Windows install on a 960 NVME samsung.

At first I had random artifacts in Windows with mininal GPU load, , and also some windows elements not loading like the login UI. Some of these can be viewed here: https://imgur.com/a/9GQsK
(please observe the 2 vertical lines are due to a broken monitor)
Note: The green stuff in the first pic is artifacts. Not camera issue.

Furmark triggers artifacts, then black screen 100 % of the time after a few minutes of running.

After using Furmark, I notice artifacts more frequently just using windows aswell, as seen here:

I downloaded latest Nvidia drivers, newest chipset driver for mobo, updated bios, problem persists. Before I had only one psu cable powering the card, I put a second one in, problem persists. Also reinstalled Windows 10 using the same USB stick as my initial install.
Here are some pics of the motherboard in the case: https://imgur.com/a/7jw94
If necessary I can take it out to get better photos all around..
I have a hard time to believe it's due to the GPU as I just grabbed it from another system that never had a problem with it. But I will try to test with another GPU soon.
CPU runs fine under load in Prime95.
No part included has ever been OCd.
I am not sure how to diagnose wether or not its the mobo or PSU causing this or something else. I'd greatly appreciate any help and if you need any more details Im happy to provide asap..

It looks as if your GPU is failing. Is it overclocked? Are the fans spinning? Did the cooler or the fans get dislodged in the move?
Can you test this GPU in your old system?
Can you test a different GPU in your current system?
