Hi guys,
I have an XFX Radeon HD5850 Graphics card ( running on win 7 pro 64 bit ) that was connected to my
Acer H243HX FULL HD Monitor. My card originally connected with DVI-I to VGA converter then a VGA
cable to to my VGA input on my Monitor. It displayed everything perfect at a resolution of 1920x1080.

I removed the VGA cable and converter and replaced it with an hdmi to hdmi cable to get 1080p,
now that its connected I have a thick black line around the top, bottom and sides of my desktop/monitor.

I have the most recent ATI ccc and drivers 10.10, with no option of panning, the resolution is still 1920x1080.
Ive gone through options on my monitor and changed every setting with no luck!

I go into the control center and select the display resolution HDMI 1080p but cannot get rid of the lines... any suggesttions ?

Thanks

Thats what I thought, Ive been looking for most of the day!

I installed various different older drivers and it wasnt until the 4th set of older
drivers that I noticed the little down arrow in the Desktops and Displays Tab
under Please select a display!

Seriously, talk about a silly place to put such options!!

SOLVED :)

Thankyou :wahoo:
