I am using Acer Nitro 5, with windows 10 installed. All drivers are frequently updated. For some reason , I can not manually control brightness under certain circumstances.
I manually installed 144 Hz panel on it from OEM 60 Hz panel.
A lot of website and app are set to using dark theme. Whenever I use these, the display dimmed to very low brightness level. If i open other white theme web page browser then the display comes back up with good brightness level. The dimmed brightness level also affect gaming.
Apparently the first google search solution: 'Adaptive display brightness' doesn't seems to apply because it is already turned off.
Can someone give me a solution to deal with auto dimmed display?
