display cable for a gtx 980 ti

My monitor is a ASUS Vg-248QE and I will soon byt a gtx 980 ti FTW.

Actually, I have a GTX 770 plugged with a DVI-D cable on my monitor. What king of cable I should buy to plug my 980ti. I would like to benefit of the 144hz feature on my monitor.

The ports in the 980ti are: display port (x3), DVI-I and HDMI
On my monitor the ports are: DVI-D, HDMI and displayport

Do the DVI-D can be plugged in the DVI-I port of the GPU. I really don't know about the subject. It it don't works kind of cable would be better; and and I have the suggestion of a model please?

Display port is the best. In order to get 144Hz, you have to use either display port or DVI-D.

Yes, a DVI-D cable can plug into a DVI-I port.
