Hi Everyone,
I've been recently getting black screens and loss of screen output whenever my PC case was physically bumped or moved. I isolated this to the cable; whenever I touched the cable, it momentarily disconnected. It's an Unbranded display port, Not even sure what version.
So I've bought a new display cable 1.4, When I plug it in, the PC doesn't like it, The monitor receives nothing and my PC falls into a constant boot cycle.
The Monitor I have - HP Omen 27i G -Sync 165hz. 1440p.
GPU - RTX2070 super.
My GPU drivers are up to date.
The Old Display port cable still works when I switch it back
Can't use the motherboard port as I don't have an igpu
Don't have access to HDMI cables.
I tried the NVIDIA Graphics Firmware Update Tool but that's not compatible with my GPU
Does anyone have any suggestions on what I could do to get the cable to work?
