Display doesnt work

I have a hp 15-f033wm and it will start up the hard drive runs, no beep codes, battery and motherboard seem to be working fine

If there are no beep codes, then the system is probably starting up fine. The display just isn't getting through. Try shining a bright light on your screen when you turn it on. It is possible that the LED backlight on your screen died. The entire LCD panel could be broken as well or possibly (and in this case you may very well be boned) your graphics card may have given up the goose. Is it still under warranty? If so, that's your best bet right there. If not, you can attempt a DIY repair or take it to a local computer repair service. Keep in mind that you may be better off buying a new laptop, depending on the cost of repairs.

the flashlight didn't work so i am going to attempt to hook it up to an external display and see if that works if not then i would think it would have to be the lcd, graphics card or ram.
