Display driver amdkmdap stopped responding and has successfully recovered.

I keep getting this warning on my PC, mostly occurs when watching certain twitch streams, although not all streams cause this. It's getting annoying since they're certain stream I'd like to watch, but am unable too, does anyone know a fix for it?

I've tried updating and even uninstalling and reinstalling my drivers, but with no luck. I also read online that using MSI afterburner to change the voltage (either up or down) however my graphics card doesn't support that, to my knowledge

Lastly, here are my specs:

GPU: ATI AMD Radeon R9 270x

CPU: Intel core i5-4460 3.20 GHz

RAM: 8 GB DDR3

Motherboard: MSI Intel H97 GUARD-PRO

It`s usually a sign that the gpu on the card is running very hot.

So if the card has been in your system for a good few months, take it out and check for any dust build up between the fan of the card and the cards cooling solution fitted to it.

The video driver often terminates any process using the GPu such as video hardware acceleration from the gpu of the card.
if the gpu on the card is getting to hot.

It is part of a safety feature built into the ATI video driver Suite to prevent Gpu meltdown.
You are often met with a black screen for a few seconds, when all Gpu processing is terminated to cool the gpu of the card and then the error message. So more than often it point to high Gpu temperatures as to the cause of the reset.

The driver terminated a Gpu process as the Gpu chip as said was getting to hot.

I don't think it's a dust build up as I cleaned it about a week ago. If it's a temperature thing I could try boosting fan speeds though, think that'd help?
