Hello, as of late I've been receiving this small error message after my screen goes dark reading the following: http://gyazo.com/e1ef7a06ef81316bbad21e81f23c15e4. This doesn't occur at a pattern noticeable by me, whether i'm playing a graphic intensive game, or using Chrome with one tab open. I've also noticed a distinct loss of FPS in any games after the driver crash. Here are the countermeasures I've already taken:
-Launch Safe Mode
-Use "Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU) 12.9.7.0" to remove my video driver
-Restart in Safe Mode for good measure and re-install driver from nvidia site
-Restart normally
-Run sfc/ scannow followed by CCleaner
-Use BluScreenView to locate files at the heart of the problem:
"dxgkrnl.sys", "dxgmms1.sys", "nvlddmkm.sys", "Ntf.sys", lastly "ntoskrnl.exe"
The last 2 mentioned have been rare in comparison to the first 3, which are always clumped together.
Specs: (no overclocking)
CPU- i5 2500k
GPU- GTX 670 FTW
RAM-8gb patriot mem (4gb x 2)
