Display driver not responding

I have a xfx 270x I have deleted all drivers and reinstalled them again fresh deleted the AMD folders all of that like I was told to do from xfx and I still get games that shut off and not respond during dif times and also just being on the desktop looking at webpages I will get a quick black screen and then the drivers will recover I have a HP envy 700-070 with 12 gigs of ram and also a CX750M PSU could anyone out here tell me anything else I could do to fix this? its really annoying thanks alot

Did you have an Nvidia card before that?

no I have never had a NVIDIA video card ever this is a new computer so ive only had the R9 270x I ran a program that uninstalls any older drivers also by the way so if I did im pretty sure it would have gotten rid of them I do have NVidia pshyx or whatever its called it has installed with some games

ok. do me a quick favour. Go to start, control panel,trouble shooting
Hardware and sound, configure a device.
Click on that and see if windows finds any problems.

I have windows 8 don't see it in control panel

Ah well, it was worth a try.There maybe someone on here who knows about 8 but its not me, so good luck.
