Solution
Hello pysneck ,
This behavior can occur for one or more of the following reasons:

You may need to install the latest updates for your display driver
Visual effects, or too many programs running in the background may be slowing your PC down
The GPU is taking more time than permitted to display graphics to your monitor

had this same issue.. my drivers are upto date, happened during card overclock and a couple of times since. have you attempted an overclock on your video card? maybe an issue. I think mine has passed now after reinstalling drivers and making sure overclock was completely reset. sorry that's the only hint I have for you but will keep an eye on the thread should any other answers pop up

Very often it's a failing video card, need details about your setup. There is a reply about overclocking, that will also cause this if you overdo the overclock. It may be a driver, but it's most often a bad video card.

Try a driver update, if they are updated, remove the card from device manager, reboot and have it re-install the drivers.

If you see the same issue, test with a different video card and test yours in another system.
