Hello,

So I play a lot of CS:GO and Overwatch. 1 in every 2 to 3 days I get this message "display driver stopped responding and has successfully recovered". The message comes up yet nothing really happens i can still see the game and play the game. I just want to know is there a problem with my pc or anything? I'll list my specs below if that helps:

Specs:

-i5-4460 3.2 GHZ (turbo boost to 3.5 GHZ)
-8 GB of RAM @1600 MHZ
-1 TBH WD Blue HDD
-Asrock H97 Anniversary MotherBoard
-NVidia GeForce GTX 960 4GB VRAM (Will the latest drivers)
-500 Watt BeQuiet PSU 80+ Bronze

note: the message still cam up even when i didn't update my gpu drivers

Solution
Basically that's the display driver crashing, in most cases it causes a black screen. Typically this is caused by overclocking and is a sign of instability, but it doesn't appear that you are overclocking your GPU. The best I can recommend is to reinstall the latest drivers or next time there is a driver update do a clean install of the driver.
