So I have had my PC for about 4 months now and have noticed that when ever i play CS:GO my game will sometimes freeze and and report what ever noise i just heard over and over again. Then i alt+tab and my mouse doesnt show up on the screen, so i'm unable to open my task manager or close anything. I have noticed that its only my AMD card that does this, if anyone knows the answer please help me. My computer is pre-built and not overclocked.

specs:
Processor: AMD FX (tm)-6300 Six-core processor 3.50 GHz
Ram: 8gb
HDD: 1Tb
SSD: none
Os: windows 8.1
PSU: 650W
GPU: AMD radeon 280x (By Powercolor)

Solution
Are you a heavy gamer? Is it only CS:GO that does it, or other games as well? If there are other games, are they more graphically intensive?

Would you consider a fresh reinstall of your AMD drivers?
I've done this in the past. You might want to consider grabbing a software like "Driversweeper", getting rid of your current AMD drivers, and then reinstalling the newest ones from the AMD site again. Sometimes a corrupted driver can cause that issue. And, I would assume you're keeping track of the temps that are happening for your GPU and CPU? are all the fans in your case working?
