Display extending with 2 monitors

Dear all,

Need help to figure out how to extend the display 2nd monitors ..
I have a Gforce 1060 3gb graphics which have 3 dp ports and 1hdmi port and vga port .
My both monitor have dp port and HDMI port .
When ever I connect the dp port the display is not coming.
HDMI connection is working only ..
Please help me to figure this out

You did switch the input select on the monitor to the correct port yes?

Yes sir ,
Even if I ignore HDMI and connect only dp the monitor display is not coming
