Question Display Folder Titles Turned Black, Folders Not Showing Contents

All the sudden the titles of my folders have turned fuzzy black, when I click on the folder it opens up and the titles are not there but I can click next to the little squares and the photo will open. Does anyone know what's wrong? II tried posting photos but would not work. You can see them here on my blog at

is it only happening on the desktop? the 2nd image is hard to read

there are 2 ways to get black text on desktop it seems, use a High contrast theme or it can also depend on background colors - https://www.thewindowsclub.com/change-desktop-font-color-in-windows-10

changing it away... have you tried choosing a different theme? go to settings/Personalisation/Theme
save the current one in case you want to use again
choose one of the built in ones and see if it makes any dfference.

I booted into Safe Mode and did some virus scans, it didn't seem to find anything much. I restarted the computer and everything seems to be back to normal. I still feel like it was virus.
