Display for laptop not working

I have an older laptop, not too old but old enough. It has a mini display port that up until I recently updated my drivers was working perfectly fine. Now it doesn't seem to be working and my laptop won't detect the monitor even though it's connected.

Any help as to why it's not working and a possible fix would be appreciated.

Can you revert to previous drivers? What's the laptop brand / model? Are you sure after driver's update, it is still configured for second display?

Try pressing <Win key>-P several times
