Question Display goes dark

I have off 2015 dell monitor p2815q, the last month or so the top of the screen has a dark shade and then it goes light at the bottom. If I turn it off and turn it on it goes to full brightness like expected but then it goes the word shade at the top thing. I’ve tried hdmi and display port connections and has the same behavior? Anyone seen this before. I have 7950x and Rtx 5090, it doesn’t matter which u connect to … it acts the same? Note also there is another hyte y70 lcd inside the case , which displays just fine.

That's a decade old display...chances are that the display is on i't s way out.

Might want to pas son images for us to see. Host your images on a site akin to Imgur and then pass on a link in this thread.
