Hello
I'm building a new computer. I wanted to look at my options for Graphic cards and LCD displays can anyone tell me what I should be looking at.

I plan to use the computer for but not limited to
- Graphic work 2D and 3D
- Programming
- Video editing
- Audio sequencing
- Gaming
- Word processing
- E-mail
- Internet
- Messaging
- Listening to music
- Watching videos and movies online and on DVD

What new Graphic cards are being released soon? and who is releasing them?
What LCD displays that are wide-screen are worth taking a look at? Dell? who else makes good LCD wide-screen displays?

Need some more information:

1) What's your budget for the graphics card and monitor?
2) What's your current monitor AND what resolution are you currently using?
3) How much desk space do you have available for a monitor?
4) What power supply do you have/are you choosing?
5) What type of 2D and 3D work/Gaming are you planning on?

NVidia is coming out the the 8800GT in the next few days/weeks.
AMD/ATI is coming out with the 3800 series in the next few months.
Dell is good for monitors. As are Viewsonic, Acer, Hanns-G, some others.
