Last night I started getting an issue where my monitor (AOC G2460PG) would cut out and go black - with the only solution being to restart. This happened twice while playing a game and on the second time after the bios screen I got a blank screen with a single horizontal white strip about 2/3rds up the screen. After unplugging my computer and checking the GPU (780ti) was properly seated I turned it on again and it booted fine. However, after playing for a few minutes longer it blacked out again and I had to turn off the computer. Today it wont get past the bios again and I'm at a loss as to what it could be. It's only started happening within the last couple of days.
Despite categorising this under hardware, I'm not certain its not software related as I have updated to the windows 10 creators update.
I certainly hope its not my motherboard, ram or cpu as those are all brand new.

After managing to boot into the desktop i uninstalled display drivers through display driver uninstaller and ran unigine valley. After about 25-30 minutes the computer turned off completely and now wont turn on at all... Anyone have any idea what could be happening? All the lights on the motherboard are on but theres no response when pressing the button on the case or the motherboard.
Update: Removing the GPU has allowed me to turn my computer on... Ill see how it runs off of the integrated gpu and if nothing goes wrong Ill assume there's an issue with my GPU.

You might be right, the issues do seem to correlate with when I updated my GPU drivers to their latest and OS to the windows creator update. Surely that wouldn't cause the GPU to force the computer itself to not turn on though? Unless the drivers have caused the GPU to throttle so bad that its heated up and caused the computer to refuse to boot.

I mean the windows version from what to 10?

I would do a clean install anyway. Sometimes updating from 7 or 8 to 10 can cause crashes. Because some drivers may not be compatible after you upgrade to 10.

Which is why it can / will crash

And win10 CU is more fussier with drivers that you install

No I just meant windows 10 had automatically downloaded and installed the creators update just before these issues had started happening... windows 10 has been my default OS for quite a while, but these issues haven't.
Thanks for the feedback by the way. So far the desktop has been running fine on the iGPU so I'll reinstall the GPU and if I get a boot, revert back to an older NVIDIA driver version and see if I still get these issues.

Looks like this is a common issue with either the new driver and the creators update or just the creators update in general... I sincerely hope its just an issue with the latest driver. Im going to assume it caused my GPU to get super hot - also causing the pc to fail to boot earlier when I tried to turn it back on after crashing. This is a pretty colossal screw up on microsoft or NVIDIA's behalf if that's the case...

Ok so I reinstalled the GPU and the desktop once again refuses to boot. This is certainly leading me to believe the GPU has died... Im convinced it was brought about by the clash between the latest NVIDIA driver and the windows creator update as it was running perfectly fine right up until that point. My GPU should still be covered by warranty but if anyone has any alternate ideas as to why else this could be happening I'd greatly appreciate further feedback.
