Question Display/HDMI cords getting stuck in EVGA RTX 3080

So, basically I'm having an issue with the HDMI/display cords getting stuck in the EVGA RTX 3080 ports. I actually have a piece of metal from a cord stuck in there, with no cord attatched.. don't know what to do. I don't know the safest way to remove it.

The BIGGER problem is that I need to RMA because one of the fans stopped working. So, needless to say, I need to get the cords out, and the metal piece.. any advice is helpful.

Hey there,

You can take the GPU out of the case, and use a precision screwdriver set/magnet/tweezers to try get the stuff out.

Check your warranty first. If you open the side/back panel, and that breaks warranty, then RMA'img might not be the thing to do. They could just refuse to replace the component.

Is the system pre-built? Or did you build yourself?
