[SOLVED] Display icons displaying oddly

So my desktop icons all of a sudden are very spaced out. when you click on one, the blue around it is long which prevents me from moving them around. I have no idea why this happened all of a sudden or how to fix. If anyone can help. Thanks

Is their size okay? did they get big or got spaced out?

right click on desktop>view> auto arrange icons

Then do the same thing again:
right click on desktop>view> auto arrange icons
