Hi everyone, as the title suggests I'm having frequent issues with my display though i suspect it's the graphics card.
This started happening after I had been away for a week, absolutely no problems before.
The image on my display cuts out at any given time even if no task is being carried out. When this occurs it seems the pc is still running, the monitor is on and showing a green light (normally if computer is off or cable disconnected the light would be orange). If any sound was being played at time of cut out from music or a video, it jams and becomes a continuous buzz.
The only thing I can then do is manually restart the computer. If I log in too quickly upon restart without giving it 10 seconds or so the image will immediately cut out again.
I suspect this is a GPU issue but how can I confirm this? furthermore is there anything I can do or are these warning signs of a dying card?
Running Windows 10 (64)
AMD radeon R9 390x
16BG DDR5 mem
Intel i7-5930k
I have tried updating graphics drivers.
thank you
