hello,

my display is black when i connect my gpu not even bios is displaying, the strange thing is that i connected another dedicated gpu and its the same
i even tried going in safe mode with my igpu then reconnect the dedicated gpu but it still doesnt display.the gpu is 2 years old.

i tried the igpu and it works just fine, even it can play some games without problems

things i tried:

checked all the cables
switched ram
checked cables
checked all hard disks and ssd
bought a new motherboard
checked the psu

my specs:
cpu-i5 4590
gpu-r9 280x
ram hyperx 16 gb kit
psu-i forgot but it was a 750 watt psu bronze certified

what is the problem with my sistem?

Unless you have a psu tester that can put a load on the psu and show the watage and sustained amps its not really telling you anything but it will power on. Now i don't know what tester you have but the one I have can do what i stated above. if yours can also and the readings are fine then I am not sure.
Are you plugging the pcie power cables into your discreet card. I know it sounds dumb but hey sometimes we overlook things.
Also just because the psu says 750wat doesnt mean a lot unless its a named brand tier 1,2 or tier 3 psu.

as you can see i wrote that i checked all the cables, also i forgot the brand of the psu because it was 2 years ago and i threw the box,it was a certified psu thats what i know

The bronze certification is just for efficiency it doesnt mean anything about quality.. It could be that its an iffy psu and that it has degrded in the last 2 years and no longer has the power to support your graphics card. You see this a lot with no name or tier 4 and 5 psus yes they work for a while but don't last. or it could be something different Just trying to give you a few ideas.

i tested the psu with a psu tester and it works fine thats the problem..and i dont know what could happen i checked everything 🙁
