The system starts and the monitor has a 1/2" wide black vertical stripe on the right side, and the left side is shifted 1/2" into the display.
It used to display a count down then shift to correct. Any suggestions on how to correct ?
Thank You. falcon

Can you source a donor display to see if the issue is with your display alone? Do the buttons on the monitor work? If so, you should be able to manually move the display to the right and/.or align it using the panel's OSD wizard.

Check and Change Display Settings in Windows 7

Set up your computer's display the way you'd like it

by Tom Badgett, Corey Sandler, May 25, 2011 | Comments: 0

Right-click anywhere on the desktop, and choose Personalize from the shortcut menu. The Personalization window opens.
Click Display in the bottom-left corner to open the Display screen.
Click Adjust Resolution on the left side of the Display screen. The Screen Resolution screen opens. Tip: You can also access the screen-resolution settings from the shortcut menu when you right-click your desktop.
Click the Advanced Settings link to open the Advanced Settings dialog box.
Click the Monitor tab, and make a choice from the Colors drop-down menu in the bottom-left corner.
Make any other changes you want.

No adjustments rt or lft

That isn't the type of cable. But I am guessing you are using a VGA cable.
This manual -- https://www.manualslib.com/manual/567436/Aoc-2436vh.html?page=19#manual says that there is a menu key on the front of the monitor.
That would be how you would move the image, via the menu.
This page -- https://www.manualslib.com/manual/567436/Aoc-2436vh.html?page=28#manual shows that there is a horizontal position adjustment.
