I'm having problems with my motherboard displaying images on my Dvi cable, it was working fine for two days, and now it displays the motherboard startup screen (which is too large of a resolution for the screen) and then a black screen. Computer works fine with my HDMI cable. I tried updating to the latest BIOS, and that didn't fix it. I run the DVI and hdmi through the GPU.
Specs:
CPU: intel I7-7700k
GPU: EVGA 1080ti
RAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4-3200 (32 gigs)
Any help is appreciated!

Solution
It seems to be a problem with either the dvi cable or the graphics card dvi slot. Do one thing disconnect the hdmi cable and only try with dvi-cable. But it seems to be the gpu.

I couldn't find any way to access my monitors OSD commands, maybe I'm an idiot. I just tried to use BIOS with the DVI input, and the BIOS was very messed up, random tabs and info was in different places, and all the info layered on top of each other when selected.
