Hi all,

I've been trhough the forums and either missed the post I need or it's not there. Lots of similar issues which I've checked but no positive outcome yet.

So I purchased the following to upgrade from my old system (I'll post below):

ASUS z170 Pro-Gaming Motherboard
16gb Corsair Vengenance LPX 3200MHz Ram (Red in case that makes a difference)
ASUS 1070 GTX graphics card
Skylake 4GHz intel i7 Quad core CPU

Old system:
CPU - Intel Core i5 750 @ 2.67GHz Lynnfield 45nm Technology
RAM - 8.00GB Dual-Channel DDR3 @ 666MHz (9-9-9-24)
Motherboard - Gigabyte Technology Co. Ltd. H55M-UD2H (Socket 1156)
Graphics - 2047MB NVIDIA GeForce GTX 760 (ASUStek Computer Inc)
Monitor - BenQ xl2420t (1920x1080@60Hz)
Storage - 111GB KINGSTON SV300S37A120G ATA Device (SSD)
931GB Western Digital WDC WD10EZEX-08M2NA0 ATA Device (SATA) 27 °C
Optical Drives - TSSTcorp CDDVDW SH-224FB ATA Device
Audio -Realtek High Definition Audio

Issue I'm having is that no display is coming up on my monitor. I have this connected via DVI and I have an older TV connected via HDMI, they both worked on the old setup. So I've tried different RAM slots, tried the on board motherboard graphics, disconneted the cmos battery, used only the basic things like 1 stick of ram, cpu and psu to see if I could get anything and I can't.

So I thought ok, DOA motherboard I'll put my old system back together. I now get the same thing. I can't get a display on there either?

If anyone can help I'd greatly appreciate it. Regards, Dan

Yes its is. "INTEL I7 6700K QUAD CORE 4.0GHz (4.2GHz Turbo) 8MB LGA1151 91W PROCESSOR CPU" to be precise :)
