Hello,

I have a Display/GPU problem and im not sure i pinpointed it accurately.

It shows green pixels on my screen , they are not static , they come and go , sometimes lots of them , sometimes none. Thing is i logged into my teamviewer from my phone and the problem didn't register on my phone. Then i took a photo with my phone ( https://imgur.com/a/UQ7E0 )and a screenshot ( https://imgur.com/a/iM2WF ). Both on my phone look fine , both look jagged on my desktop. I even shared screens on skype with a buddy and he said he doesn't see them? Also , the problem appeared in the past 3-4 days , since the temperature outside droped bellow 0 degrees celsius (32 degrees Fahrenheit).

My question is , can a faulty GPU draw this weirdly only for me , or it should also stream it weirdly , or is a plain bad monitor and the gpu is fine (i hope so , i just got it 2 months ago and its a 1080Ti)

have you tried changing your display cables? hdmi,DP, DVI.. same results? have you checked if there are any lose cables from your GPU or on your monitor. have you tried unplugging your monitors power cable. and turning it on again.

even after a proper nvidia driver update, the issue wont go away. then it could be the VRAM in your GPU malfunctioning frame buffers or its abnormally being underclocked in your GPU to render images on your screen.

you did mention it looks like green specs flowing on usually dark/greyish frames/areas.

you might want to test the GPU on a different machine to confirm it. or return it to the shop asap.

It only had 2x DVI , 2x HDMI , but i got no hdmi cable on hand , changed the cable from one position to another and persisted. Removing power cable from monitor doesnt fix it. Btw , it ussualy happens for the first 20-40 mins when i boot it up after i come from work , now i got 0 specs. Thats why im thinking its a cold weather problem with the monitor. I ussualy turn off heat when i leave for work and start it when i get home.
