Hello!

So recently I had a problem with a gaming PC that my friend gave to me. The monitor keeps getting "no signal" randomly, whether it's during gaming sessions, or some lightweight browsing. On some cases the "no signal" keeps popping pretty often and I can't use the pc for more than 15 minutes without restarting it (restarting the PC solves the issue and gets the display back on), but the issue still don't go away. On some cases, my brother can play games like GTA V for 2 hours max without any interruptions. Keep in mind, that I can still hear the PC audio through my headset. So this got me thinking that somehow the monitor is at fault.

My monitor is an old 2014 monitor, AOC e1670swu [768p 60hz]. The monitor only has a 1 vga port, and is only powered by USB. I tried different ways of powering the monitor, by plugging it directly to the PC, or with usb connector such as a phone charger. I also used a VGA to HDMI converter to plug the display directly to the graphics card.

I've also considered some possibilities that the power outlet couldn't handle the pc, or maybe some faulty PSU.

I've been trying to surf the internet and still haven't found the solution to this, any ideas?

Here are my specs:
Intel i5 12400F
GTX 1660 SUPER 8GB
8x2 DDR4 RAM
2TB SSD
Antec 550W PSU

So far I've tried cleaning, reseating, and swapping the slots of the ram and updated the graphics driver.
