[SOLVED] Display not showing when new RAM inserted

So I bought a new stick of DDR3 RAM:

I fitted it into my motherboard with along with a new processor: Intel Celeron 2 Quad Q9550 and the RAM does not work. My old ram does work, theyre both 1333 MHz and DDR3. The problem is when I turn my PC on the display on the monitor goes black.

exact model of the pc or motherboard that you try to upgrade?

It is compatible with my mobo and cpu. They are different brands.

are you only using you new ram stick or are you trying to use both your old and new stick of ram?

I tried both single 4GB of the new RAM and the 2GB of old + 4GB of new. The thing is I have 2+1GB of RAM and that works. And I cant access BIOS because the screen wont turn on at all with the 4GB either way inserted.

if the new stick doesn't work on its own then its either defective or is not compatible with your motherbord

if you are mixing and matching your old and new ram then it looks like it will not work. mixing and matching ram is always hit or miss

G41 Chipset motherboards use low density memory. Most memory manufacturers have discontinued making that kind of memory years ago.

his mobo manuals says that it doesnt support chip density 256mbit or less, so your kits wont work either
