Hello, I am trying to get my first build working.
Specs:
GPU: ASUS GeForce GTX 1060 DUAL 0-O3G Graphics Card - 3 GB GDDR5 - 192-bit - 1809 MHz
Motherboard: ASUS A320M-A
SSD: Sandisk 480 SSD
CPU / fan: AMD Ryzen 5 1600
Power Supply: Thermaltake 500W
Tower: Corsair Spec-Alpha
I plugged in everything as per the instructions in the guide I was watching. All the fans spins, the gpu heats up (not so much that the gpu fans have to spin... they just spin briefly then stop when powering up), and the monitors I am connecting direct to the motherboard via hdmi/vga cables do not connect. I did not see any stand off pins to install for my tower, it appears that the design already had the stand-off pins in place. The directions for how to connect the frontside panel to the motherboard are extremely poorly written, and while i was able to determine how to connect the power button, I thought maybe the others not being connected properly might be the problem. Another problem I thought is maybe the power supply is not adequate, as there seems to be a lot of hate being thrown around on this forum towards thermaltake. Attached is a picture of the pins for the frontside panel. I was hoping someone could tell me what order to put my HDD, led + - and reset plugs relative to the power plug. Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
