I'm having issues with my second monitor either have a ton of wasted space on lower resolutions, or having the display overshooting the edges of the screen. I'm using a gtx 970, and as my primary monitor is using the only hdmi port, my second monitor is using an hdmi to dvi adapter. I've tried going through all the setting in both window's display setting and through the Nvidia control panel. I'm using the native resolution, and I'm pretty sure, but not 100% its off by the same amount of pixels on each side. Thanks for the help! -Pat

Have you tried using the "resize" tool in nvidia control panel? That's how I always fix this issue. It's under the "change desktop resolution" section but you have to enable resizing, then "apply", then actually go through the resizing process. Should be exactly what you're looking for.

Every time I come on here I feel like the answer is in the dumbest place that I know I should have checked. It turns out that my monitor was set to overscan in the advanced picture settings. I'm so unobservant.
