[SOLVED] Display Port and HDMI no signal

Recently got a new monitor: lc27jg52qquxen (2560x1440), neither DP or HDMI is showing any signal.
Currently i am using DVI - HDMI but this locks my refreshrate at 60hz, and i want to use any other cable to get the 144hz.
I was able to receive 144hz on my previous monitor - AOC G2790PX - through DVI - HDMI. the previous monitor also received signal from HDMI, but not DVI
I have a HDMI 2.0 cable, and 2 Display port cables but neither show signal

Motherboard: GA-AB350N-gaming wifi

My concern would be whether or not the motherboard actually supports 144hz via either of those ports at that resolution. The manual doesn't say, so I'd recommend contacting Gigabyte directly.
