Display port cable for ASUS VG248QE

The monitor I am about to get (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00B2HH7G0/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER&psc=1)
is a 1920x1080 monitor with a refresh rate of 144hz. I am also going to buy a display port with it, but have done some research and found that some display ports dont work with that refresh rate. I was looking at this cable (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B005H3Q59U/?coliid=I1K3WIFZ7F5TMP&colid=3JCL40XLFQKL&psc=0&ref_=lv_ov_lig_dp_it)
and am thinking about getting the 6ft version. Would it work, and if not, could you link a display port cable that would? Thanks.
