Hello, I bought a samsung UE55TU8502 TV and a DisplayPort cable ---> Hdmi, but there is no signal when I try to connect, anyone has an idea why?

Specification:

PC (Gtx 1660 super) DisplayPort ---> HDMI on TV ---> no signal.
PC (Gtx 1660 super) DisplayPort ---> Hdmi in the monitor also no signal.

My cable: https://www.mediaexpert.pl/komputer...puterowe/kabel-displayport-hdmi-m-m-5m-czarny

What i tried to do:
Update bios
Set the power management mode in the nvidia panel to maximum performance.
Update and downgrade nvidia drivers.

Connecting DP only to tv gives this effect:

GTX 1660 super oc 6gb
Motherboard: ASRock b365m pro 4
Ram: 12 GB Viper

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!

Make and model of your PSU and it's age? You might want to also state how you have a 12GB loadout for your ram. 4+8GB? In any case, include links to the two sticks of rams. Which BIOS version are you on? How are you able to get display to the OS GUI and change settings in Nvidia's control panel if you can't get display?

Try powering the display with a native HDMI cable as opposed to an HDMI to Display port cable.

My psu is silentiumpc vero L3 bronze 600w and is about a year old.

I have 16gb (2x8) no 12gb my mistake sorry.

Hdmi from pc to hdmi in monitor works perfectly, problem is when I try connect something via Display port.
