Display port cables

I just received a AOC 2460PG monitor and the display port cable was too short( 6ft). Anyhow I thought I read that G-sync only supports 6 feet cables. I need a 10 foot cable so please help me and respond if 10 feet display port cables work for g-sync. Thanks alot as I really want to use this monitor.

As long as the cable meets or exceeds the required specs, it should not matter how long it is unless GSync is sensitive to wire propagation delay, which would sound like lousy design to me.

Thanks--I thought I read somewhere that G-sync requires 6 feet,but it doesn't make sense to me-- Thanks and I'll try a 10 foot cable
