Hi,

I am getting the samsung 28inch 4k monitor very soon, it only has 2 HDMI ports and 1 display port. To get 4K @60Hz it says you need a display port 1.2 or above. I never used a display port as I always use DVI. Is display port with the HDMI connection on it the right one I need or if you tell me a product or link that would be awesome thank you.

DVI to displayport will be limited to 30hz as you are still relying on the DVI bandwidth. You need a GPU with displayport out. What i have seen some early reviewers do, is run 2 HDMI cords from the gpu, into both HDMI inputs on the monitor and then you can split the monitor into '2x separate screens'(Shows up as 2x 1440p displays @60hz in windows). You then essentially setup an eyefinity, multi desktop display.
My concern is that if your current GPU doesn't have displayport, your GPU may not be up to the job of running 4K. What GPU do you have?
