Hello Guys

I’m trying to connect a Ben Q 1080p 60hz gaming monitor which only has HDMI & a DVI adapter to my Gigabyte Radeon 5700 XT GPU / B450 gaming pro Carbon mobo which has a Display port and HDMI.

My question is can I get an adapter that changes display port to DVI to allow it to plug into my monitor?

Or...

Better to plug HDMI to HDMI...
What are the benefits or bottom line which one will give me better picture quality and performance!

thank you in advance

Solution
No difference in quality between DVI, DP, HDMI or via adapters between these. Only difference is if wanting an adapter for a higher refresh rate.

See for more info;

For 60Hz in your case, HDMI to HDMI is perfectly fine and easier.
