I was just casually playing one of my games until all the sudden the entire pc flicked off. It turned back on automatically, but the only thing not working is the displayport. Here is a list of things I already tried.

  • Unplugged all power from the monitor and pc to reset everything.
  • Checked to see if I could connect with an hdmi cable...also doesn't work.
  • Took out the memory sticks and put them back in.
  • Made sure all the cables inside the computer were plugged in.
  • Tested the hdmi with my nintendo switch on the monitor. Worked just fine so now I know it's not the monitor that's the issue.

I saw some video guide saying I needed to test the power supply with a multi meter, but I wanted to see first if there were any easy suggesstions. Thank you!

Knowing Cyberpower, that's probably a Raidmax or similar crappy power supply, and the fact that it SAYS it is a 1000w unit means next to nothing if the quality of the unit is poor.

How long have you had this system?

Has it been working normally since you first got it or have you had problems all along?

Are the lights on the motherboard coming on when you power up?

Are the CPU cooler fan and case fans coming on?

Are the fans on the graphics card coming on?

Have you tried removing the graphics card and reseating it?
