Hello,
I recently purchased 2 monitors and a new GPU. I messed up because the monitors only have HDMI and dvi, meanwhile the GPU has 1 HDMI port along with 3 displayport ports.
I'm wondering if my only option is to return the monitor or is it functional to somehow rig either one or both of the monitors to the displayport slots in the GPU.
I don't have integrated GPU so plugging into the motherboard isn't an option.
Specs:
NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 - 8GB (GDDR6) (VR-Ready)
ASUS 24" LED FHD Model:VG245H
Is a cable with one side dvi and the other side displayport a good idea? I realize it may not display at 75hz at that point.
