Display Port Multi Screen Does not Work

Hello, I'm trying to connect a secondary screen to my PC, via DP but it does not work, I have a 1070GTX, the current monitor is connected to HDMI.
I had to buy a HDMI-to-DP adapter for the new monitor, but it does not work, I tried the following combinations:
New Screen via HDMI-Works
Old Screen via HDMI-DP adapter, does not work.
When I attach the new monitor via DP, I can't see it in nVidia Control Panel.

from what i get, it looks more like it has to do with your dp. try using hdmi with old screen :/ also, use another dp if you can

Yes well the old screen is connected via HDMI, once I tried to connect it via DP with the adapter, it did not work, also I've just tried connecting the Old monitor with another DP Cable, it still does not work, so all considering I've tried:
Connecting my old monitor that works via HDMI to the DP via the ADAPTER, did not work.
Connecting my old monitor to DP via proper cable, did not work.
Connecting my new monitor to DP via Adapter did not work.
Connecting my new monitor to DP via proper cable, did not work.
Connecting my new monitor to HDMI, works.
