Newly built computer with specs:
CPU: i7-9700K
Motherboard: ROG STRIX z390-E
GPU: MSI GTX 1050 TI
Memory: 64gb corsair vengeance lpx
PSU: Corsair CX500 500 W

As the title suggests, when turning on the computer the monitor says that no display port signal is found. I tried using an HDMI cable instead on a different monitor and it still doesn't work. Anybody have any ideas / solutions?

I have already tried plugging and unplugging the power and display cables for both monitor and computer. Doesn't work.

Another thing is that while booting the computer up, the DRAM led on the motherboard lights up as orange. I tried to use single RAM sticks in each slot but the light doesn't disappear. Could this be related to the monitor problem?

If you guys need additional info, let me know.

You're connected to the GPU and not the iGP on the motherboard, right?

That's a really underwhelming PSU for that system (especially the CPU), but I would expect it to still post.

As for the DRAM light, I'm not sure if orange = successful, or orange = error. I'd have to check your manual.

If your computer is turning on perfectly fine with the fans spinning and everything, but there's no display, there may be a problem with your motherboard.

I had the same exact problem and it was my motherboard, which i got replaced.
