Question Display Port - No Signal help

Hey, recently out of the blue my display port on my ASUS VG248QE Monitor has stopped working and I havent got the foggiest idea why as it works fine with a HDMI connection

Here's some information about my build and the tests I've done:

Specs:

• Ryzen 5 1600
• Gigabyte GeForce GTX 1080 WINDFORCE OC
• 16GB of Ballistix 2400mhz RAM
• ASUS ROG STRIX B350-F
• ASUS VG248QE Monitor

Tests:

• I have tried two different DP cables
• Tried both of my DP ports on my GPU
• I have updated my GPU drivers and the display drivers

Other information:

• I receive no signal on my monitor, and it will also not show up in Windows at all under DP connection

If someone has any idea how I could fix this I'd really appreciate it, I look forward to your responses

Yeah i think we are, very annoying. I've seen somewhere that if you reset your BIOS that could be a possible fix but i don't know enough about computers to try it as i'll probably mess something up hahah
