Display Port to DVI-D Dual-Link

I'm about to buy a new PC, an enthusiast build, but nothing mind-blowing. My old PC died on me, fried somehow. Doesn't matter now. I'll be using my monitor from the burnt PC, which is a MAG M22N, which has a VGA port and a DVI-D Dual Link port.

I'll get the MSI Radeon R9 390 Gaming, which has a Display Port (which I heard were really good, I never had a chance to test one) and a DVI port.

So should I get a Display Port to DVI? Or DVI to DVI?

Will getting DP to DVI just undo all it's greatness?
